Hi There!
I am a university student, and my aim is to convey the message that is often obscured by the media and people which is free music that people get from illegal sites that ignore the ownership of musicians and singers. My journey started out as a project for an English Composition class with Instructor Lesley Brooks, an amazing woman who has encouraged me to travel and utilize how users are getting free music without knowing that those sites do not give musicians back for their efforts. With that I was able to experience the great benefits of books and internet first-hand and get more information that I never expected to know. It has allowed me to explore the globe without stagnating my college courses. This experience has allowed me to empathize with the counter-arguments of illegal free music such as how could it cause problems to the musicians and how they are quitting day after day as well as develop a more research-based claim rather than simply a biased one.
